Four jam packed sessions perfect for beginning artists who are ready to learn how to draw portraits. You’ll learn what messes up our drawings, and the techniques the pros use to create accurate art, including measuring, contour drawing, and all about adding dimension with value and shading. By the end of the course, you should have completed your first accurate portrait drawing.

Starts Thursday, September 17 to October 8, 2026

Materials:

• Drawing pad (minimum 9” x 12”)
• Drawing pencil set (2H to 8B)
• Kneaded eraser and gum eraser
• Reference photo
