DESCRIPTION:You are invited to participate in a literary event that takes its inspiration from the 1863 Salon des Refusés. It is a celebration of writing that was initially rejected. It is also a celebration of marginalized communities who often feel rejected by mainstream society. DESCRIPTION:Artist Talk! \nAfter a great deal of reflection\, I’m choosing to get very personal. Using digital art programs\, Drawing Home is a visual and auditory storytelling of my brother David who\, because of his struggles with dyslexia and ADHD\, led a wild\, full life. At one point he was homeless. Matched with an exhibition called House For Sale\, both explore the housing crisis in Ontario and related questions about belonging and concepts of home.
