Inspired to draw all of the performers portraits at Barrie’s current Poet Laureate, Ty the Poetess’s last annual event I started with my dear friend Bruce Meyer. He is probably the most prolific poet and most published author. He’s overcome numerous life challenges, including a few near-death incidents in recent years. His eloquent use of words, the way he symphonically moves his hand as he presents his work, and the inspiration I felt are beyond words. Even beyond this portrait.
