Artist Talk!

After a great deal of reflection, I’m choosing to get very personal. Using digital art programs, Drawing Home is a visual and auditory storytelling of my brother David who, because of his struggles with dyslexia and ADHD, led a wild, full life. At one point he was homeless. Matched with an exhibition called House For Sale, both explore the housing crisis in Ontario and related questions about belonging and concepts of home. I will attempt to tell my family story from my brother’s perspective, and my mother’s. I touch on my parent’s childhoods as well.
